MarionMade community fashion show
A small team of interns at Marion Design Co. thought up MarionMade during the humid summer of 2018. MarionMade was developed to fill a perceived gap in the cultural scene of Marion, Indiana. MarionMade is a community-run fashion show that celebrates clothing sustainability and provides a unique creative experience for and by Marion residents with participation and support from key city stakeholders.

MarionMade fashion show 2018
For the show in 2018, I served as art director and lead designer. The first fashion show took place right on the square downtown—bringing energy and life to an alleyway that was usually uninhabited. I curated the experience and all touchpoints: from homemade ice cream to local coffee vendors to live music to custom wayfinding and event materials.

MarionMade fashion show 2019
We held our second show in November 2019. During this show I was the stage manager, model coordinator, and served on the design team producing materials like lanyards, posters, and signage, as well as assisting junior designers. Over five hundred people attended MarionMade and it successfully brought the community together to celebrate creativity and sustainable clothing.
